Antowan Nöthling is a South African voice actor, radio presenter, and media personality with a career spanning over two decades. He is widely recognized for his versatile voice work in both Afrikaans and English, contributing to a variety of projects including commercials, radio dramas, animated films, corporate videos, and interactive voice response (IVR) systems. Nöthling began his broadcasting career in 1994 at Rippel 90.5 (now Groot FM) while still in high school and later worked at Tuks FM during his university years. After graduating, he joined Kosmos Digitaal, a commercial satellite radio station, and has since built a reputation as one of South Africa’s prominent voice artists.
He has been involved in notable projects such as the animated film Khumba (2013), where he lent his voice to a character, and various Afrikaans radio dramas produced by Maroela Media, including Briekaandraai and Sagmoedige Neelsie. His voice is described as versatile and adaptable, suitable for roles ranging from authoritative and corporate to humorous and conversational. Based in Pretoria, he operates a home studio and is self represented.
